Title: Gold Forest

I was scrolling and Kevin Hill painted a small forest scene that caught my attention. I made mine large. I could not help it. I am drawn to scale, to immersion, to the feeling of being inside something rather than looking at it from outside. The gold light flooding through these trees is the light I always look for when I walk in a forest; that moment in late afternoon when everything turns luminous and the world feels briefly like it is enough. This painting lives in my living room. I am not sure I can sell it.
