Title: Damigiana 1

When I hike through the vineyards of Cinque Terre, I am often captivated by the quiet, unexpected beauty tucked into gardens: damigiane. These glass-blown vessels, once used to hold wine or olive oil, now rest like silent storytellers in the sun. They feel like living artifacts, fragile, luminous, and enduring. The way each damigiana absorbs and reflects the sunlight creates a visual experience. When I paint damigiane, the process is meditative and grounding.
